Choose where the bracket will go based on the studs. Measure appropriate distances from either end of handrail for the mounting brackets. Measure appropriate height from floor to handrail. Mark where the brackets need to be mounted on wall and handrail. Attach bracket to handrail. Attach bracket to wall.
